custom skins!

hi,

i am using 2 custom skins, 1 of them is kenny, from south park.
the other one is a lightning gun skin, it makes the lightning gun look and sound like a flamethrougher, but still takes off the same damage, and its still called lightning gun.

if i am using these custom skins, everyone else on the server will also have them!
so i just wonderd, is it ok to use the custom skins?

so if u play on other server only u see the skin. all other ppl see an basic model like sarge.
if u start a server, all ppl who wants connect must download the skins .. that suxs Happy
so its your decision if u wants to use a model :roll:

nope wen i go on other servers, everyone can see the skins and use them but they dont have to download them DUHHHH!

hum. i think only you see them as using the same skins. if u have the files, u wil see everyone else with them aswell, but they dont actualy have the files and they dont see the same as u.

like for example, you change your r_picmip setting.

when u spec ppl u will see your setting and not theres. it will apear as if they are using the same as you but thats just because what you see is effected by your own settings not others.

althoguh if u use a custom model skin, and the other players dont use forceteam model or xp_enemymodels they can sometimes see your model. if they complain about not being able to see u they should use these commands. if they play seriously i would think they would be using these commands anyway.
