usually i had no any problem with vid_restart, but now, vid_restart don't working in 1.03 too

So it might be the q3 issue.

Try to leave only pak0.pk3, install point release, excessiveplus 1.03 + zbeta5.pk3 and do the same thing on fresh settings.

same thing when i minimize and maximize game with 'q3e minimizer' program while loading a map.
When camera shaking - a reconnect or in_restart helps me.

I've seen something similar on other player some time ago on 1.03 server too - player suddenly start spinning very fast around Y-axis - that was looking so fun

I am proud of spreading a pirated Excessive Plus version and claim to be the original author, yay!

I fell it quite often after vid_restart, .. in cpma too
so i think its q3 issue and looks like reason is that u dont recieve packets while restarting and then somtimes u (client) found urself in strange place..
