when I rcon mute a client they can still /tell others or myself. Please can this be fixed?

I think no, Beast said that muted persons needs to have ability to communicate via tell, you can mute him on your/client side, just dont use /rcon

hmm i think such ppl just should be kicked\banned for good - so no need in total mute, but if he can tell something maybe he would say some excuses and would stop doing wrong.

I think, then, you and Beast both missed the point on what being 'muted' means.

No, cuz It was me, that suggested him to mute even tell messages, I just repeated it for firefox what beast said to me

Oh aye.
Anyway, it should mute everything, basta. Or there could be a soft mute (you can send tells) and a hard mute (you can't). Dunno.

Beast and Doc are right, crapbringer not.
Mute is to stop player spreading words on server publically... it is up to individual to /mute id too. TIS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE.

I use rcon mute when a player is annoying all others (being abusive etc), i use client mute just for players that I just find annoying (stupid binds etc).
I post this screenshot of Bax some time ago, I had rcon muted him but he still sent me /tell, this is why rcon muted player should NOT be able to still send /tell messages
