On standard map is impossible to play on public server without FF ON, even in that case people spam... And make a lot team kills.... That spoil joy in any cases...
try to play on rockstar tdm. i think its ok
btw i think old times on 1.02b rox. But its looong time ago when i played it and i dont remember server names which was my favorite. It was faster and its my note. Its reason why i loved original x-nature ffa - 1.03 but very fast game
if switch time gets changed as in too much, then nobody will play on that cfg. Switch time has already been taken down since 1.02 so i say don't touch that. But the ammo regen idea sounds ok to me.
hard to define it but i d like more 1.02 version with mow weapon release like actuall plus,bro. ofc respect to mow, and all guys who wasted time for our playing.
just can say that on bro servers the guys who spamm are missing... if u would run bro.cfg on normal plus servers u wouldnt see a diffrence between the spam.
its just about that the bro servers arent visited by the player who are spamming, since most got fucked up root to swe.
Meh spam. All I can say is I wouldn't mind a higher switch time... 150... 160... zzzzzz... all the same to me. Anything faster than baseq3 switch is fast to me
baseq3 switch is gay, gay as Liberace at the Playboy mansion. if that is implemented here, it would simply kill the mod.
grrr trance, i didn't say change the switch time ;P I just said it's the "cherry on top". The reason for spam is so obvious it burns my eyes...TOO MUCH AMMO.
Fast switch time (or "right" per weapon switchtime) is good and matches the style of the mod.
The characteristics of Excessive plus are two and only two, imo:
1) Speed
2) Bfg slides
The rest are bs ;]

To be honest though, i don't expect the bigger part of the community to accept such changes, so it's pretty impossible to see them in plus.

Eh thought so, just wanted to clear that out for the rest of the readers ;]
I have one personal cfg that i use, called m0ve.cfg, in which most weapons have really low ammo.
Most of the main weapons have only 1 shot.
The result is, you can go through your weapons once fast, but then you have to wait a bit before you get your ammo back.
As long as you are holding the fire button, you dont get your ammo back, and since most spam requires you to hold your fire button, you will soon not have any rail, bfg, rocket or nades.
If you dont hold the fire button, all your ammo regenerates right before your weapon can fire again.
So no spam = infinitive ammo. Spam = 1 shot only.
Once you get used to not spamming (ie, letting go of the fire button when you are not actualy shooting ), it is one hell of a system, and personally i would like to see it in plus.
