Who said that I make ego trip. When I start to play I start on 1.02 and BRO CFG and I love that game instantly. Love at first sight. Now PLUS cfg haven't anything in common with BRO cfg.
PLUS is now more alike as E5 or PANTS. Shooting and shooting from all weapons in all directions.
On standard map is impossible to play on public server without FF ON, even in that case people spam... And make a lot team kills.... That spoil joy in any cases...
I will probably rent one root fastpath server in Germany and put BRO cfg on it... That is for us which more like BRO cfg only solution now...

rena the bro config was way faster than plus.cfg 
duno how it looks like now, some old farts perhaps including me started using on bro.cfg magic combo bfg+rocket couse two bullets were pull as that quick so they were hiting enemy at the same time

Yea, would be nice if u host a rootserver. That is a good idea, maybe i will there play too, i just dont play on bro/mr. servers because of my sucking rooting to there (ping 200)
And btw, the switchtime difference bro to plus is 10 ms (and 20 ms on gametype 8 )

Are you sure HQ that you have 200 ms ping ? 
I haven't, and I am away far form SWE. Poland is across Baltic Try it.

im cheked deferences betwen configs and im laung mine ass of, major deference is in lg and in gl, rest of weapons are prety the same, also in plus.cfg u have one multijump more (same as was in bro cfg in past) and a pshychics 2, bro has 1 
the funiest thing is the swichtimes is the same, should i name mule thief ? lol
another funny thing is i see bro_xp cfg for first times sinence more than a year lol same as opera becomed for free mule decidet to make config public

Long time a go BRO.cfg is free to download. I will search that tread where is Mulle posted, I can bet that is at least 6 months available for download... About original and copy... I have anegdote "Copy is not guilty, original start first" 
As far as I remember, Mowq make poll about switch time and that topic still exists... so, people decide that prolongs switch time near to BRO cfg. But my point is in original tread about armor, that PLUS suffer a lot changes in last year... and game then change a lot... Changing RG power and armor I am afraid that game will less excessive in relation with original... that's all. Maybe will not be anymore excessive, except in spamming and spawn raping.... BFG, RL, GL moves, to much multyjumps, maybe use RG even more powerful to move with it to ? First changing LG, and PG and then changing and collect armor, maybe collecting ammo to and health ? Where we will back ? To baseq ? And point is that you can do what ever you want changing, but we still have BRO. That is was I point it at....

mate u should know that the best, that changes leads to making somthing good we dont talking about changing to worse, that kind of changes can be backed to previous state if ppl will wont like it
do u think lg is bad in plus cfg ? i think its bad in bro cfg... and a lot ppl was complaining about it 3years ago
when mule changed multijumps u dont think he changed to worse? but when we did changed some things u see it worse?

mule never wanted eny help nethier sugestions couse he is convinced he knows it beter, and that is plain stupid
btw u can use first bro.cfg couse its started our comunity, but im can garantie U that it wont be funny playing on it for U
both configs evolve, the deference is we want make it a choice of comunity and mule want make only his own choices
about swichtime u can ask mowly who gived him the value, it was mine sugestion the first day 1.03 was relased, all servers were running on swichtime 1 at these days, and it was unplayable, also mule get mad on mowly couse mowly chaged config only couse mule dint wanted to do (couse he claimed he will do it beter when he will had more time) and majority of player started play on servers with fixed confing, mowly servers... then mule get realy mad on him...
beside talking about some features dont meant they will be changed, so there will dont be for sure eny two shot rail as u sugesting, couse players wont let it hapens

The only. I repeat, THE ONLY difference between classic bro cfg and plus cfg is lightning gun and some "time to live" differences.
and xp_physics 1 -> 2 of course.

Which of the above cause plus cfg to "have nothing in common with bro cfg"? And in which way plus is more like e5 or pants?
Switch time is the main spam factor as it is, and it's on both 140 as i see.
ps: If there are more differences, i didn't notice them in my quick check (nades per gametype don't count imo)

If you have more ammo than you need on any game what do you do? You start shooting randomly, especially when there are no enemies around. This is spam.
So here that we practically have unlimited ammo this will obviously happen.
The cherry on top is the switch time which causes the so called excessive spam or in other words "spam combos".
Bro, e5, plus have that. The only real way to cure this is by lowering the ammo/regen of weapons down to "just the right" values (or other more "extreme" measurements). If you make a poll about this, votes will be 50 - 7 against so I see a small flaw in "always hear the community". Don't get me wrong, i totally support this idea but it is my opinion that the cfg team must take the bigger decisions for the common good on their own.
As it is, it's impossible to get something better out of e+, (as mad said). I hope two things, 1) 1.04 will fix four very important things i want. 2) Plus.cfg team will take some important decisions on their own. (or at least throw them on a server with the plus-BETAtest.cfg for feedback and touch-and-feel)
