Big PB Problem !

Ok this is really important since I got a CW tonight.. So when I join *TC* games or rarely on DeeX when pb is enable I enter the game then the screen freezes but I still here the sounds.. Its also impossible to leave the game except from rebooting my comp.. Because I can open the menu but can't see anything.. So any of you now what It may be ? How to fix it ? Thanks alot to who can say that to me Winking

Big PB Problem !

I have same problem:/ My method is restart video. I press alt + enter to open Q3 in window and then i press it again and back to Fullscreen. After this screen don't freeze.

reinstall your vid drivers. and use latest version. if that fails, backup to version before that.

I am proud of spreading a pirated Excessive Plus version and claim to be the original author, yay!

doesnt work, i have same problem its since pb update.

my solution
bind key vid_restart
reconnect.
works perfekt and no jumplags most times Winking

another bug is that im just randomly forced to spec when im not killed/fragged some1 at the start of the round, really suxx for 1on1 matches ;>

maybe the pb delay is too low/high?

i thought this only happened when ur pb version is out of date. if it's not updated then it does force u to spectate, but then it also says specifically in the console that ur forced to spectate until ur pb version updates.

it does exactly say that i have to wait until pb updates, but im using the latest version of the cl pb (updated through web etc) its a bug and happens randomly, not if u kill some1 or if u get killed by some1.

rejoin is the only solution

skull im not sure its a q3 bug. pb does all sorts of weird things. for example, i reinstalled q3 and then updated pb again. and whenever i join a server that has pb enabled, it wouldn't let me connect saying pb isnt enabled on client. found out for some reason cl_punkbuster cvar is 0, inspite of the fact that i changed it to 1 on all my configs, and did pb_cl_enable a lot of times.

i would actually do a fresh install of q3 and check again to see if the bug goes away.

Big PB Problem !

I got these error messages on a PB server and just wondered if its anything major?
