Can someone tell me how i am banned from entering a server because no name?

I have valid name in my baseq3.cfg and my excessiveplus.cfg.

I have never seen this message before..

certain names are not valid, just try a simple one /xp_name Frank

hmm yeah thanks, but are you sure this is solution?

I mean, message says "please use a name" not "please use a valid name"

this is the first server in years of playing that i have ever got this message.

no problem, looks like this server will get ignored by me in future.

It means the problem is you (DAU) and that u behave like a bitch.

But to be constructive, which name u try to use, can u c&p the whole cvar with ur name?

This message comes when you use nicknames like Unnamedplayer or Unnamedplayer+ etc.

Your config might have exceeded the 16 kb limit so it caused this.

The problem mow tries to tell you is that when you want help with such a ban we need to know the circumstances under which it happened, ergo, the nicknames in your config.

I had the same problem once. When I used ditto as my handle the message was "banned use more creative name" or something like that. So, I changed it and then "banned get a name" so I solved my problem quickly by finding another server to join. Its all good so dont sweat it.

check this to U'r cfg file, folder quake3 arena/q3config and folder excessivelus/q3config:

"seta xp_name Frank"

"xp_name Frank"
