More categories - more fun in my opinion. These all pre propositions of categories could be ok - fun and ok.
So as first person I can leave here my suggestions about categories:
- Best clan leader
- Best newcomer to e5 side
- Best newcomer to Plus side
- Best e5 ctf atacker
- Best e5 ctf defender
- Best e5 ctf middler
(could be same for plus side but afaik there is no ctf at plus anymore)
- Best spammer
- Best camper
- Best e+ movies maker
- Best moderator
- Owner of the best (most usefull?) posts on forum
- Best accuracy player
- Best clanhopper
- Owner of the frequentest greatest and impossible frags
- Best chat spammer ingame
- Biggest loss of shape
- Most active player
Some of them are stupid but its for fun. Its in year's scale. Atm I can think only these ones. It can be preliminary list of categories for awards

I was thinking of this idea back in the summer. At the time i didn't think many people would be interested in it. Well for definate there needs to be 2/3 sides these awards. Plus/e5/railonly. If each cfg has there own panel imo it will work alot easier. (Im in the for the e5 as i seem to be active, i also know the e5 players inside out)
If the awards are to be made i would stress not to make alot of rewards. As in a ridiculous amount.
For e5
Most improved clan
Most improved player
Best attacker
Best midder
Best defender
Best newcomer
Most loyal player (to a clan)
Most helpfull player (as in helping organise events ect)
also.
Cap of the year
Frag of the year
(those 2) would rox 
Couple suggestions. Lets just not got crazy to the point were the awards feel useless.

hehe nice idea... id say that ppl who want to be judges should post here like ' I WANNAN BEEEE' or so. also i guess hazo can be like UBER judge who can pick judges (still he suggested this idea). So if we can gather jouri which will be active well-known and polite - hell yea
So my suggestion is to post here / slap hazo? to suggest urselfs as judges. Thats not really hard to do this kind of e+ awards, so gogogo!

And also Abarth, Laktos, Camel... can't think of more atm...
Anyway most of the categories are good, but some of them are so generally vague as to be predictable.
- - Best accuracy player
Predict nominees: Marcus, Skull, Dragon, Laktos, Morpheus, Hyde
- Owner of the frequentest greatest and impossible frags
Predict nominees: Marcus, Skull, Dragon, Laktos, Morpheus, Hyde
+ best oldschool player
Predict nominees: Marcus, Skull, Dragon, Morpheus
Etc.
While I love all of the players above ;> I do think it'd be more fair to have categories that "every player" might have more of a chance at being nominated for also, even if they don't win.
Just to keep things interesting.
I'm useless atm however because I cannot think of any category where this would apply. Thought I will say right off the bat, in Plus/Brom, best movement on q3dm7 goes to Mowly, best movement dm6 goes to Camel, amazing 1v1 underdog Morpheus, and most useless forum mod goes to...
