Hello,

I know there were some topics like that but long months ago, every month things and ranks are constantly changing so here I am asking you.

Which antivirus is nowadays "the best" in your amateur/professional opinion?
I want to buy one because I just realized how infected my notebook is, and since now I will get paid on my bank account instead of cash I'm afraid of any attacks. I don't trust free antivirus because I had lots of problems with it and they never could protect my notebook in satisfacting for me way. I had Kaspersky 2010 antivirus and I thought it's protecting me really greatly, while my friend scanned it by Avast! antivirus and it detected a few viruses. I'm totally clueless about nowadays antiviruses.

So, what antivirus is the most trustworthy for you and worth of spending money for it?

Cheers!

Avira. Its for free (if you dont need some advanced features like firewall, backup to cloud etc) and its the most powerfull antivirus software you can use. Check http://www.avira.com/en/avira-free-antivirus

I used ANTIVIR + AD-AWARE.

But now I prefer AVG + MALWAREBYTES.

You must be kidding. NOD32 is no more a good one.

Hello. I used antiviruses before, but no more. A good combination is using Comodo firewall and Spyware Doctor. I only used the firewall now and have no problems, whereas before using it I had spyware that would cause me plenty of trouble. The firewall also uses little resources.
