hey guys,
i have fps lower 50 when lg/bfg shoots are done. and that causes a ping loss up to 30%. dunno why?
well i had it fixed before because in my bios the gfx was on pci 6mb but i have agp 256mb... so i changed that and it did work a few days. now today i isntalled new directx and new gfx-driver... maybe this is the reason?
please help

Which direct x on which windows? And in what order was the directx and gfx card driver installed,which was first?

i'm shure that it's not a config problem. i tried many different ones.

it's newest directx (@work - can't look what exact version it is, but it was from nov 2007 i think)
i first installed gfxdrivers and then directx.

than it should work i had same problem....with omega driversi have fps problem however with the new ati drivers it went good

well without using teamspeak i can get average fps between 90 and 60...

directx opts -> max nr of rendering fps's set 2 or 8 radeons r sensitive for this option
and whats your gf name mb/bits too

i suspect your refresh rate could be the cause. (if u're using a CRT screen ofc). Get reforce (http://www.pagehosting.co.uk/rf/download.html) and set for ur in-game and windows resolutions higher refresh rate values than the normal ones. ie. play in 1024x768, you could easily do 100 HZ rate.

worth giving a shot.

my 17" monitor just makes 75 hz on 1024x768
