i ve also probs with PB ... i get kicked after a few minutes ...

restriction:service communication failur:PKBSTRB.EXE HEARTBEATS STOPPED

maybe someone can help ... btw i have updated pb

also PB probs

I think Xab had the same problem yesterday. Check if PnkBstrA.exe and PnkBstrB.exe run in the taskmanager. Try also to restart the PC after you install a new PB using PBSETUP.exe http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php
It can also be that your firewall blocks PB, so try to disable it for a moment and see if it helps.

if PBsetup don't work, try PBsvc. that program will reinstall PB. after PBsvc, u need to use PBsetup.

I have some issues as well with PB now after recent update.

Sometimes with running PnkbstrA and B (they exists in taskmanager) but usually with losing key packets now.

I thought that switching off antivirus and firewall solves it (just for a time of cw) but now I'm still getting kicked.

bnkbstrA is runnig all the time and pnkbstrB is runnig when quake is runnin.

i also tested turn off windows firewall and my other1. same shit.

waht i didnt test is restart after reinst pnkbstr.

and i use winXP sp3

i can remeber that i read something for the pbnkstr shit Big grin

go to services in control panel, find pnkbstra, properties

somewhere u ll fnd about 3 trys in some recovery shit.... dont know the english definition for that Big grin

just choose to restart service it in the 3 cases....

maybe that works for some Big grin
