Its agreed that PB is not perfect and we have disused this before, the bottom line is it IS better with pb as it at least filters out 90 percent of cheaters, yea sure its laggy for a few mins but so what..... I can deal with that. do people really find 1 map of lags is not a good trade of to remove some cheaters. ?

I know there are many reasons and they have been discussed at length,(cdkey new players not knowing pb etc etc. But cant we just have 1 freeze server with PB and PURE and the rest can be left open ...or am I just being selfish

I also cannot understated a fair minded player being happy about pb being off, I CAN understated mowly’s point of view fully as a server owner though.

The odd thing is there once was a great e+ player called Alien ( hi man if you are still checking in on the forums and he ran a PB server with 120 extra cvar checks that caught many many players out, it was very strict at first, kicking people if they hadn’t brushed their teeth before coming to the pc etc....lol (that’s a joke if the translation doesn’t work for some guys ) but once it was up and running, it was full most of the time. It was a little quiet at first.

When people played there it gave a feeling when losing to a better player as ok, and you would just try harder next map. (well it did me ) the game was more fun people just laughed and joked more as many would if they knew the server was all but cheat free....ahh those where the days... It removed much suspicion, something that is slowly destroying e+ from the inside.

One thing we must deal with is that in mod like e+ running without PB, the potential is for it to be infested with cheaters, for gods sake cheating websites post links to e+

Your explanation is very good and detailed mowly but in my mind the PB debate won’t go away. That said I fully accept the fact that any server owner doesn’t even need to explain his reasons of how he runs his server

...but just out of interest if all servers ran PB, there would be no option and if the mod died then it was either full of cheaters or full of people , who didn’t even care enough about the mod to sort their pb settings.

And does osp or cpma servers run more pb then e+ ?

ok, i will enable pb this evening and i will make it pure!

i dont expect, that the server get's full under the day (before evening), but i expect now, that the server get's busy in evening (must not be full the complete time, just busy)

if that work, within 1 week testing, i let it enabled, if it not work, i disable again.

BTW, i speaking about LEMON Server

I'd happily play on a pb server (with a decent ping and config, for a change).
