make one big group, then we all will be able to play ever1 against every1. at end just playoffs from first 4-8 clans. playoffs even with full amount of clans signed in here, will be much quicker than whole cup.
or if you want to make two groups then in finals please make two brackets for players from group1 and group2, clans from 1st places from both groups will play between for ultimate 1st place in cup. in this situadion we need 4 clans in first group bracket and 4 clans in second group bracket.
also with one big bracket for two groups you can do system like: 1st from group1 vs 1st from group2 / 2nd from group1 vs 2nd from group2 and etc. - but i think one big bracket in play-offs from 2groups will be fail 
whatever you will do, it will be fun for community

How about 3 groups of 4 with Swiss tourney system? Winners and second place qualifies automatically, and two best 3rd place teams (judged by 1) map. Then have an 8-team playoff with loser brackets.
That way, there is still a lot of matches played. Leagues take long time, and don't have as much element of competition and preparation.

This system is exclusive to e+ only, and it's kinda flawed. Winning should be rewarded by either 3 or 1 point, and loss is a loss either way. If you lost 2:0 or 2:1 should matter only in tie situations where teams have same amount of points.
