well thats the bug that we asked e+ team to fix. cause in 1.02 u could switch to another weapon then back to rail to fire faster, and thats breaking the cycle everyone complained on(including me) but now people is complaing cause its fixed. I dont understand why people dont see that this is a good fix. less spamming=nicer gameplay and more pro game mod.
And about the bfg is slower, if most people are not satisfied its possible to lower cycle time on the cfg, but then again this will raise the spamming level a bit.

but
dunno if EXCESSIVE derived mod/config stays for pro-nonspamming game probably nope..

Most peeps wont still get it so better to add that
those combos fast switches are damn possible on some servers.
With those configs you have much more creativity beleive me or not
So 1.03 is ok besides some bugs but not most configs, there is nothing wrong with introducing personal ideas here

+A faster switching does not mean spam but will make games be played all around maps. I mean its useless to get near to someone why doing that? Better camp on a proper spot and you can rail even flies there
Close-fite weapons are sort of uselss this way.
All weapon combos are to disappear now, for instance in close range I used to prefer several weapon combos like SG followed by MG, whic was very effective.
i still use the Sg-Mg combo mate

About playing with all weapons so-called spammy style, I got that habit playing on US servers. There, with generally 10+ players on a server, lots of close range fites, with super-fast configs like Deex's, Budman's, Frag Farm's you have to act/think/fire fast to get alive. This is enjoying even with a 250 ping.
I did not prefer that style when playing vs guys with sharp eyes and railguns tho. But in those it feels still slower.
Now in 1.03 my accuracy/frag count dramatically increased that almost every game I have 50+ accuracy. Thus, from point of you, I should actually say "Hey this rox wouw grate" but I dont? I dont care about frag count only when less adrenaline, that is, less fun here. Almost all games I feel like some mysterious thingie trying pulling my hand back, have chains on my body, always limited.
All CWs are already like Age of Empires games, with a very careful analyze of each map, thinking on invidual players and their replacements so e+ is getting away from being a hardcore agressive action. Intelligence is of course a part of this action but if one preffered to play some strategy game Q3 would be last choice
Now 1.03 provides ways to make things faster, legit as always. Faster configs would not hurt noone its not something to be scared. If you call waiting such a loong time for switching non-spaming style what to say again
