Hm. Not in order:

Urfaust - Geist ist Teufel (atmospheric bm / dark ambient with some orchestral touches)

Agalloch - Pale Folklore (avant-folky metle)

Triarii - Pièce Héroique (martial industrial / neoclassical music)

The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Are You Experienced? (psych rock)

Ulver - Perdition City (a bit experimental electronic music)

    Kult - Spokojnie (uhm, post(?)-punk)

Drudkh - Autumn Aurora (atmospheric bm)

Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath (heavy metal, hard-rockish at times)

Agents of Oblivion - Agents of Oblivion (stoner rock, plus a range of influences)

Disillusion - Back to Times of Splendor (progressive metal, heavily influenced by melodeath)

I'm pretty sure I left out a couple of important things (like Burzum's Hvis Lyset.., for instance), but this will do for now.

Evoken has one marvelous song on Antithesis of Light.. plus some good ones.. and a few which drag on a bit. I don't know any other albums.

Lurker of Chalice has some splendid moments, but I never considered it a fave album.

OLOLOLOLOLO

No Kult, bitch?

Fuck you, LoC is great. In fact, i'd consider the lack of it's s/t debut to be the biggest gap in the list i posted.

As for Evoken, they're pretty close to being the epitome of death/funeral doom perfection, alongside diSEMBOWELMENT and Esoteric. Quietus is tons better than the already good Antithesis of Light.

I find it hard to imagine a better doom methul song than Antithesis of Light. The possibility of mindfuck is excessively high.

I might actually listen to LoC today, thanks to YOU, bitch.

Just listen to "Where Ghosts Fall Silent". Just listen to it, man. It's grate! I think it floats around the utubs.

And listening to LoC is never a bad idea. Each time you listen to it, you become a slightly better human being.

I really should. I have slight difficulties with really getting into it, though. It orbits around my sense of awesome, but can't really land, yet. I will definitely give it more listens in the near future.

I am getting very much into Agalloch recently, though. The Mantle > Pale Folklore. Chatterbox
