I'm sure a lot of people has this problem. I tried the trick with setting pb privilages to run in vista environment but it seems not to work.

Is the config outdated or there's nothing we can do about it?

Try this little programme pbsvc, dl it to desktop then run it and let it do its checks, gl with it it fixed my pb issues Happy

aha, problem is: pbsvc.exe and pbsetup.exe don't working in win7?

I think I've found a solution.

1st of all you're setting the compatibility of PnkbstrA and B in your windows/system (or sysWOW64) folder to run under vista (sp2 in my case).

Then connect to some server, minimize q3. Rightclick on my computer -> manage -> services and set the both pnkbstr services to cooperate with desktop processes (or something like that).

I've just checked it and I wasn't kicked, passed all pb_cvarlist.
