when i do browse this board my battery in phone dying really quick, the phone becomes hot... why?
i do use chrome

Using handheld or pc/laptop?

edit: apologize for asking a dumb question on device you're using. I Believe its OS and browser dependant, maybe data plan too. if you're using wifi instead of 3g/2g your battery may run low faster.

Newly implemented web chat on this site is sending to you updated informations each X seconds even if nobody is posting anything,you can set different refresh time or disable it in your profile settings.

You can also disable animated screenames to default plain text, as gif animation uses cpu power as well.

Maybe that is the cause Happy

the chat can also cause a loop, giving 100% cpu useage.

its stock htc one (android), something is really wrong with this site since the battery drain is bigger than watching youtube movies, and the phone gets oddly hot

anyone experienced the same?

i have same phone as u fala it does get very hot easy. i noticed and battery dosent last long at all. i find my phone on charge most the time!

mb cuz we have 1 the fastest processors on our phone it uses more power so battery drains phone faster.

htc 1 is faster then an iphone etc so this could be the cause )

Same here with iPhone 5, pretty sure it's chat refreshing! Look at screen shot, top-left corner, that icon means "loading" so during typing this post when website was fully loaded it was still working because of chat;]

And even I walk through the darkest valley of the shadow of death I will be not afraid because I am the worst motherfucker in this place.
