don't really like happy endings on a movie, so ill go for the normal one Happy i mean all its nice, u just go do smth else after the movie, on the standard end, it makes u think more why he did that etc..

hmm i like the idea of the alternative ending, but it's way too happy... they should have stopped when will smith looks at the pictures of all his "patients" and not brought that "keep your radio on-there's hope"-shit.

I wanted to put a bullet between the eyes of every penguin that didnt wanna screw to save its species.

Dont like the alt ending (too many american movies ending like that) so normal one is better and give more to think about it.

Both endings suck, because the movie is a badly cast, poorly written piece of shit. I would find the alternative one more plausible coz it shows the vampires to be a little more than mindless zombies (if you'd read the book, you'd know they are much more than that), sadly, it doesn't really "fit" the movie much at all, it does not even have a proper set-up to execute it smoothly.

I was kinda disappointed with original ending, this is a bit better but....bah...overall, the movie was overrated, I expected more overall and it was pure average imo, but it had potential, until someone killed all the fun in it.

Tnx for posting, I didn't even know till now that they even made an alternative ending (the fact they made it proves something stinks in original).

F2 - but not happy with it either - it's like a patch but still with "bugs" Happy

this movie is total crap, piece of shit, hollywood excrements for brainless people and fans of britney spears
no ending can save it

if you're not fan of britney spears, i advice to check following movie instead:

to realize how deep and touchingly the original tale really is

besides there is a book, i haven't read, but it seems to be very good

alternative ending suits more imo...
it is the expected ending... to me at least...
since the zombies are explained to be quite intellegent it just suits more... Winking

btw. movie kinda sucked imo because there just was too much of "virus -> zombies" stuff lately... (resident evil, doom, 14days/weeks, ...more for sure)... its really boring meanwhile...
