Which do you prefer, Doom3 or E+ ??

I bought DOOM3 the first day it came out for $52.00

I installed it, it didn't work. So i checked my system. All is good :mrgreen:
At first I thought I had a bad disc, returned it only to get a new DOOM3.
Then I started reading the forums about it 1 week later. Come to find out that DOOM3 has anti-pirate capablities Laughing Laughing Laughing

I have both Alcohol 120 and Nero 6 installed. Both of these software have a Virtual Drive. So...I uninstalled both Alcohol and Nero, re-installed DOOM3 and it worked...oh yea...that pissed me off Evil

I put Alcohol 120 & Nero 6 back on, DOOM3 did not work (again...). Guess what?...yep...that pissed me off Evil

Several weeks later, someone makes a No-CD crack :-k

Guess what...it worked. Winking

Conclusion: I shelled out $52 to play DOOM3 with a No-CD crack? The anti-pirate software used to make doom un-hackable is actually hurting those who buy it. I bought Alcohol 120 and Nero also, so I'll be DAMNED if I have to un-install them to play DOOM3 Laughing

I would like to say thanks to ID software & Activision for being the greedy bastards that they are. Thanks to these fine software developers, they have ensured that DOOM3 sales will plumet for PC users :mrgreen:

Nothing is un-hackable for the technology that is use to protect it there is someone making the yang, the technology to get around that... if it was unhackable it wouldnt have a no-cd patch. Winking

he wasnt talking about someone hacking anyone or any pc, he was talking about the copy protection on a game. Which is bad to talk about.....LooL So now we just talk about Doom and how based on the Poll it SuX .....E+ doesnt lol

I've been playing Doom3 online...and it just isnt the same as Qauke3
