Wax inspired me to continue this thread with added ashtray in the pic Winking And no,I dont smoke white filter ciggarettes so they would match my ashtray Happy
Btw that white piece of crap u c next to the mouse is a improvised mouse cable holder,created by me Cool

@ratz,
awesome seup man, I love the way you have a 'real' bar ashtray or as I like to call it my " oh shit ! 4 in room and i only have mg, cigarette panic rest" also mine is actuality a cooking spoon rest in the shape of a cats head, im such s noob.

I also love the way you have it more centred, mine is a more to the right. I think its easier to put the cig down when closer to the mouse, how do you find using yours in the centre ? Can you give me the measurements of the placement on the desk so I can give it a try ?

g5 is rely fine, but somtimes losing pointing, 510 has surface that sick to hean more, and the wheel on g5 arent working so well

g5 has few things that for sure are beter
- pointing precysion
- design/look/maked (510 same as 518 was terible maked iven 500 it was much beter if u look at this mater)

Yes its easier to put the cig down,but I'm currently in the process of learning a new technique,how to smoke without having to take it ouf your mouth.It also requires some meditation trainings and full devotion.
There are no special mesaurements,just centre the mouse on the pad and then setup the ashtray straight infront of the mouse to the very edge of the table.If u want numbers,then its 25 cm from the right edge of the table if im not mistaking Winking

By made u mean the quality of the material Logitech used when creating those mouses? I would have to disagree with u in all 3 points:

Design- is IMO better then on the G5,some buttons that mx510 has and G5 has not,are the reason I would never buy G5 and give away my mx510 since I use all my mouse buttons in quake.

Look- blue mx510 is IMO the prettyest mouse Logitech made...

Make- Again I have to disagree (if u mean quality of the material and plastic here) because my mx510 has hit the floor probably 10 times allready and never a single mark or something that would "give away" for example when I would be selling it the buyer could never tell that it smashed the floor 10 times because it works and feels like new,out of the store.
And I think its all an invidual preference.

@raz, the material dont mean nothing, its how they finished tiny things in torse, if u will open 500 and 510 u will se how big deferences and "money cuts" was puted in

im dont like look of the 510 or 518 they look cheap for me, but the material give realy fine grip, g5 have beter skatez

did u comared torses of razer diamondback to mx510 ? razer is much beter finished
