You know, this relates in some way, to what some of the oldschool peeps are saying, stuff like "in the old days, there wasn't so much spam around here, posts made more sense" etc.

I call that bullshit. I've read almost every post and thread on these boards, and i can honestly say that two, three years ago there was exactly the same amount of pointless posts plus there were more flame wars. It's just the names and the style that changed. But i think it's just a perk of the community - all the stress from killing millions of polygons every day must come out SOME way.

Maybe it's just me who's curious about it, because i'm not that kind of people who lough about guys labelling each other as gay.

heh. this is something that i thought about once. can u imagine just how bad an actual gay guy would feel if he read all of our "ur gay" type comments? would be horrible. xD.
