imo this agsint gauntlet bots show it best
one screen without xp_drawnames and one with
(same position done with g_speed

it doesnt show exact location, its not moving, it just shows for second and stay on same place and then shades away
its here since ever, everyone knows about that (yes you reinvented wheel)..

with sound you can get more precise informations (its little help for soundless users )

this is feature (for recognizing your teammate/enemy) not bug or even wallhack

so dont make panic

Yeah, let's not be paranoic.

On a related topic, i found out that you can actually kind-of-wh with... the crosshair

Yep, it's true. When the crosshair runs through an enemy entity, it turns yellow, and i found out it also works through thin walls. Meh, should we ban crosshairs now, too ?

Pardon me if i'm wrong, but when Camel was suspected of cheating on his Lem tryout, didn't it turn out that he had xp_drawnames 1, and everyone thought it was ok back then ? It's just a command, and it's hardly as wall-hackish as cg_shadows 2, for example.
