Hi !

Before I started to build my own cfg file, the mod was using q3config.cfg in E+ directory. Cool

I madeup a personal config that I stored in /conf/ and used a startup command line to launch : +exec conf/ave.cfg

The problem is... it seems that some of my variables / values have been somewhat transfered into q3config.cfg ! So I guess when I'll join any E+ server, these will be rewritten... Thinking

Now it's kinda hard to track down from which config a specific problem could come. How could I manage this ? Is there a command option to avoid this like -force or such ?

I'm not sure if I get you right but q3config.cfg always holds your latest settings.

You can create an autoexec.cfg with your common settings (which will overwrite the q3config.cfg) and when needed load up your ave.cfg.

It seems that some problems have ran away (like Health vanishing) but I still got weapon replacement method not updated. Will try to clean up some parts of config.cfg first.

Thx for pointing out the role of q3config.cfg !
