One of the best K1 fighters in the world Mirko Filipović Cro Cop has paid his dues to the injuries he earned on his way to the Grand Prix belt, and tommorow he is in for a surgery of a left foot in Basel clinic Bruderholz.

This was announced 5 hours ago,Fedor and match against Fedor werent even mentioned but I guess this is the reason he quited,I only translated,so dont hold me responsible for possible mistakes ;p

Mirko lost...ZOMG,lost from Gabriel Gonzaga (WTF??? Happy)by his own weapon,a powerful high kick in the face.I was pretty shocked when I saw him lying on the floor unconscius for 2-3 min.And he twisted his leg when he fell,so he is limping now.So sad...I guess this wil motivate him to come back stronger,like he did so far after losing against minotaur and then fedor.Gonzaga kinda surprised him with those elbow shots when they were on the ground...Mirko wasnt prepared for that,and when referee told them to stand up Mirko was disoriented,i think those elbow shots messed him up badly..
