so there is a little bit of truth in quite a few conspiracy theories but they actually add quite a lot of fiction for more publicity. My personal philosophy is to try to live my life in my own way, show respect to people (before they give reasons to respect less that is ) and try to make ends meet back home. And uncontrollable factors are just that, uncontrollable factors whether its new world order or giant anti planet or ground invasion of giant shape shifting jew lizards, and therefore should not be sweated about

So basically this boils down to your usual, run of the mill, 'jews in a secret plot to rule the world'-scheme. I guess the part of cross-breeding alien lizards is somewhat original - but compared to Scientology, again maybe not.

As I noted in a post somewhere, most preachers of salvation have a tendency to bring the opposite. Millennaristic sects like the Davidians, or the People's Temple differ in no significant way from this. It doesn't matter how you package it.

That said live and let live etc, as long as you don't harm anyone feel free to belive in anything you want.

Thx warner for starting this topic, i was considering it a while ago.

Funny how all catch on to jews and ignore to see the bigger picture or even open their mind. First u call him a preacher, then relate his theories with jews, which i failed to see in any of his videos (and i seen alot). No i didnt watch youtube links of icke, i went on and downloaded everything i could find from him on torrents and then bring my own conclusions, without any "critics" influence. Id also like to know who are those ppl that criticize him.

He is also saying many times in every introduction of his lectures, that he isnt trying to make you beelieve anything. He brings out the facts he found out during his research, its on you to agree with it and beelieve him or call him a psycho. If u think its BS, move on and get on with your life.

Anyway Icke is just scraping the surface, whats really behind the "shapeshifting jew lizars" known better as the Annunaki or Chitauri u will find on other sources which explain it much better than Icke.

Let me just ask u this: Do u really think we evolved from apes? Or that we evolved from chromagnon to homo sapiens over night?

Seek the truth and yee shall find.

Why is it so important to take this theory to heart? Why don't you make a thread where you suggest yoga to people, or any kind of physical training. Or reading history books?

This has all the characteristics of a sect - he is either in it for the money or truly belives in it (and then is nuts). Of course all of this could be true, but one would think that it would demand extraordinary proof to back up claims of alien lizards and whatever conspiracy. If the claims alone wouldn't completely undermine his legitimacy. As it stands I can't see any difference from any of Dänikens books, or thousands others of the same mysticism/ufologist/occult/paranormal whatever genre to this.

So why don't you sum up the basic premise of the theories for us, and the so called research he has been conducting. But if you think you can just waltz in and start recruiting people to some mumbo jumbo cult which utilizes the same cheap tricks as any given sect - without facing any form of criticism/opposition you are kidding yourself.

This works both ways in a liberal society - preach what you belive in and be prepared to listen to criticism.

I didnt come here to discuss about Icke and the lizzards, actually if it werent for this topic i wouldnt post at all, I rather discuss about zeitgeist. Icke presents his facts the way he does, u can go with it or move along or do your own research and find out that other experts in various fields, and scientists and astrologists and historians, are all talking about the same thing as Icke. U need to dig deep inside the big picture and then connect the pieces together in one whole. U think this a sect? Keep thinking it, i dont care.

Where the fuck did u get the idea we want to recruit anyone to a fucking cult? Eating shrooms lately, have we? If u think its mumbo-jumbo thats fine, move on and "waltz-out" yourself away from this topic, noone is forcing u to read it.

And can u show me proof that Jesus christ was walking on earth and performing miracles? Just dont say the bible pls.

I rather focus on the problems which zeitgeist movies are talking about, which are backed up with proof then arguing with u about something u probably dont even understand.

We can get very scientific about sects and how they function if you want. There is a couple of zeitgeist threads around, one of which i have posted in. Go ahead and bump it if you want to disucss something. Although I must say I'm only mildly interested. I find it more fascinating that clever people, many of whom I know IRL, are so flabbergasted by these theories that they swallow them bate, hook and sinker.

My whole point is this - if you are endorsing these Icke theories you have to point out what's wrong with other theories, such as the evolution, Christianity or why not zen-buddhism. You can't just bombard us with some links and say "check this out dude, the truth will set us free" (not saying that you specifically did, but yeah you get the idea) or "seeing is believing" or other accompanying platitudes. If Icke wants to have any legitimate say in this he will have to play by the scientific rule book established in the enlightenment and onwards. Anything else is a recreational hobby pseudoscience, and at the most an amusing bedtime read.

Haven't watched the movie and will not either as i think it's a waste of time(as many others showed that were), but Ratz please stop talking nonsense about Jesus, ok? Go with ur fucked up sect somewhere else if u say u dont want to promote it . Me for one im not interested and by trying to manipulate others by giving contraexamples of why our religion is bad it just shows how lame this whole situation is .

And dont even try to convince me, k? As long as im not saying anything about ur "thing/sect/or whatever" or any other, please don't touch my religion (Christianity). Hope u understood me clearly . Bye ! Don't even dare to reply to my comment, as religion is the only thing i believe in now and nothing else ! Winking
