Greets,

My Hard Drive of 60 gbs recently got trashed out totally (burned no idea what)
And i am left playing with a 200gb and 15 gb, 200 is full of different (honestly) stupid stuff and music, the 15gb is for my q3arena which is 7gb, i got msn, ati drivers, xfire and nothing at all more!
I made my pc work like a wicked turbo dontknowwhat (fast) by reducing graphics and everything that can slow the pc, in my q3, i made everything to fastest and ofc r_picmip 11 (ohmygod), so it looks like scrindle said graphics of the 80's, and still i lagg! not by ping, but by packet loss (from 10-40), no idea!) im not downloading, i got all 24mbps working! (17 but who cares? fast enough)
I can play somehow with this kind of lagg, but i have a terrible problem (on servers where i have (10>) packetloss so i got almost perfect gameplay (well.. not perfect but i can say its perfect), i got awfull switch.
I can feel that the switch takes about 2 times slower than before.. that means 10 times slower than Aim*Red has... Winking
Maybe you have an idea what can i do to make my switch faster?
i got (in_mouse -1)... but even (in_mouse 1) still slow..
Any ideas anyone?

fix the packetloss ^.^

i had that problem too..but i dont know what helped...i did so much... ;D

for example i reinstalled my pc (-> after it the packetloss was still there)
i installed new virus programs (-> dunno if they helped but it could be)
and i m always waiting till my pb is full started in q3 (otherwise i have packetloss again)
and maybe try it with stoping all the other programs which are working in background Winking

did all that.... probably its the stupid drive! :roll:
