xp_publicChat (default=1); // Server side cvar to enable or disable all public chats in game, but keep the ability write to the team chat and spec chat. Usefull during the clan wars. Could be added to the callvote command list and ref list as well to switch it during the match.

i dont like such restrictions ...
but its ok, if it is an option for CLIENT!

its the same with frozen spectators in CW/FW:
it makes teamBinds totally useless
and therefore the game looses an important feature!

Definitely a good idea! Some people are way too ignorant to show the tiniest trace of respect towards the people concentrated on their game.

Anyway I would prefer xp_publicChat. Why create xp_noPublicChat while xp_publicChat does the same without reversed logic? I can't tell you how much such thing gets on my nerves in external code, first of all if it's reversed again when used in comparisons: if !noPublicChat .... Smug

you can use \ignore or \mute with parameter 'red, blue, spec or all' (or even more) so for what you need that from serverside? useless, cuz its available from clientside.
