Tried to bypass that (in morphine.cfg) with pulling speed = 0 and v.short time & cycle + negative knockback - it works but not as smooth as it could. If pulling speed is 0 and time is higher value grapple stops your move (even in the air) - looks silly. It would be enough to make continuus (negative here) knockback with cycle (like lg) and prevent movement stop.

Dont mind sound change/off and dont like LG looking hook but could be implemented as client-side setting.

hmm ... maybe it seems to me, but i think hook here on e+ is delayed too Straight face

man open excessiveplus/conf/default.cfg and you will understand how much possibilities e+ offers

for grapple you can have from instant to very slow speed of fire and of pull

u r wrong. instantly here is not instantly like in efreeze.
u can set that same variables for hook like in EF, but here u cannot move with that same speed like in EF. = hook dont work correctly.

yes, agreed on more grapple options.
grapple looks style options needed for sure. ( lightning with rocket tip )
some possible style options..
WPS_GRAPPLE_CORE_RAIL
WPS_GRAPPLE_CORE_LIGHTNING
WPS_GRAPPLE_HOOK_ROCKET
WPS_GRAPPLE_HOOK_PLASMA
style setting..
Style = WPS_GRAPPLE_CORE_LIGHTNING | WPS_GRAPPLE_HOOK_ROCKET;

Just for example of different hook style, which could probably be an idea, you can visit +antirail+ server: http://www.excessiveplus.net/spider/antirail Natural instant hook there (hitscan) whose pull speed is proportional to rope length, and you can not hang on walls, just move. Other weapons are special too...
