Ok, now a short description of the event.

First off, EVERYONE must record themselves, regardless if spectators also record them. Everyone will be required to upload those demos somewhere and send me a link, or email the demos to me.

Event:

We open with a FFA with all the participants, q3dm17, 1 minute timelimit.
The screboard will be used to determine pairs.

Then those pairs join the server when invited, and play their game.
The winner will advance, but the defeated player should stick arround, because theres one more game for them to complete.

After all the games of the first round are finished, all the defeated players play another FFA to determine their spread.

Then the next rounds begin.
After they are done, another FFA is played among the defeated players.

Next round has only 4 players remaining.
Winners advance to the finals, while defeated ones play for third place.

And then the finals determine the champion!

Points for the freeform ranking will be awarded to players who participated according to this table:

• 1st - 6 points
• 2nd - 4 points
• 3rd - 3 points
• 4th - 2 points
• 5th - 1 point
• 6th - 1 point
• 7th - 0.5 points
• 8th - 0.5 points
• 9th - 0.25 points
• 10th - 0.25 points
• 11th - 16th - 0 points

Well one effect of the first one is that noone will complain about the pair they got for the first round.

In other FFA's the effect is that your position is determined by how well you do.

its fraglimit 1. and with most weapons being instakill in plus, its logical to expect a hit once and out situations.

in the last tournament, only one frag wasnt with rail or bfg instakill, and that was Torz mging Craciun.
