When i see a spider, "lovely" is quite possibly the last word coming through my mind. Tongue I either react very aggresively and with, i'll admit, unnecessary overkill, or panic, depends on what the spider looks like.

I once tried to take a spider in a jar, but he fucker ran out and jumped on my arm. He was small, but all hairy and disgusting, so i freaked out, run to the other room and started slapping myself with the other hand so hard a part of the spider flew into my eye. :roll:

I dont even feel safe when they're safely contained somewhere.

@ laki - good choice laki,thats green python (morelia viridis) very agressive and expensive,but very lovely snake !

If you keep all 3, snake, spider and centipede, the snakes can eat the spiders and the spiders can eat the centipedes. Happy Food source problem solved hehe.
Seriously I like snakes even held a few, but I dont like spiders of any size. I had a phobia of spiders since I was a child, I know where the phobia came from. There were a load of bushes near where we lived I saw what I thought was a flower Yellow and grey in colour and about the size of an orange, I gently poked it with my finger and the whole thing broke up and scattered Shock . It was millions of baby spiders. Of course I ran of screaming indoors. So that I think is where the phobia came from.
