So clans will not get rewarded for each match win, but only if they finish top 3 in an event?

it could be a nice idea but with deadlines 2 weeks for each match it becomes sux

yes, with the condition of having many small events Big grin

I give u summerizing table :

WarsToWin = Wars to win for a clan to have one of the 3 metals
 cos second-final counted there.
 
RatioAwardedClans = The ratio of how many clans win a metal
 compared to number of clans.

So imo, 4 (8clans events on the same time) is better than one 32clans event.

Edit:
Can you imagine how many fws are played a week on e+ ? That's a lot, transform those fws into ranked wars being part of a 8clans event and tadaaaa.

So I can call a group of 16 ppl, make 10 quick cups 4 vs 4 and create e+ rank leader just like that? - cool.

no. they have to be different clans each team. but yes in a way the more you play the more medals you get so it does reward activity. There would be alot more games played because its in there best interest for the purpose of rank or medals (whatever).

Firstly, you would have to make sure that at least 2, probably 3 events, are running simultaneously so all clans can play. it isn't gonna be fair if clans start getting rejected because of entrant limits.
Secondly, what will happen to w/o's? It isn't gonna be fair to hand out medals for free.
Thirdly, there will be need to be dedicated people to set up and run each event.
Finally, I'm not liking the equality of this medal system. At least with ELO you get more rewarded for beating better clans (or opposite).

In theory your proposal is simple, in reality it would need a lot of work to keep it running. Making mini tournaments (3-4 teams) alongside the ELO system would be better imo. Priority = Long term. There needs to be more clans in e+ and that will only come by introducing e+ on other q3 websites.

No problem at all. There could be more than one ranking on the same time.

I explain : if a war is "ranked", you have only one result (same data) that could be used on different kind of ranking (calculated differently)

So if you wanna keep actual one and add new one, it is technically possible.

The objective is to make clans play more cws than fws like what you see on 1vs1 games, rare ppl play 1vs1 not ranked.

Nope, Railonly is railonly so only 1 clan Happy but particular clan can chose to participate
in seperate railonly divisions/ladders, for example:
the * smurfs would participate in 3 seperate ladders: bananarail.cfg, rr.cfg and ufreeze.cfg.
+ 1 overall "railonly summary ladder" (or something like that).
The idea is to seduce people from other railonly mods to come to E+ and start playing
for our ranking systems. I suppose that people playing ufreeze mod would definately wanna
own "E+ ufreeze ladder" and maybe then just try some other configs/ladders.
Also to be best of the best, clan would be forced to participate in atleast couple railonly
ladders, so overall in summary ladder they would take 1st place Happy so even if your clan would
be number 1 in "ufreeze ladder" but doesn't play for other ladders, then u still won't be top
in "the overall"

Yes, imo bananarail.cfg has more to do with plus side configs than railonly,
but I don't care since I'm not forced to play it even if I'm in railonly clan.
Now we have 2 seperated rankings on E+
1. plus side, we all know that only confings which will be played on this side is: plusN.cfg
2. railonly side, well i don't know how many we already have, but atleast 5 xD
Playing one cup with bananarail.cfg and then another on instaunlagged.cfg
is very different, that's why we shouldn't put all those railonly configs to one bag (one ladder).
On the other hand if we devide them just like I mentioned in previous post,
we could endup with 2 clans playing only bananarail.cfg, couple playing rr.cfg,
etc.
That's why we first have to focus on configs and events based on oldschool railonly mods
like ufreeze, efreeze or instaunlagged. Create events and invite clans from those mods
to participate in our ladder on our mod Happy After couple cups like that we would definately
have some new very skilled railonly players.

Also don't forget about PLUS side Happy we all know that those who come to e+
start from railonly, then very fast same people end up in Plus clans.
So I can see only benefits, but "the project" is time consuming,
First we would need that RANKING system to be rearranged, make cups,
invite people, hmm atleast 1 year of plan xD
