currently a 4s, soon to be a 5c. does everything i need and is clean, simple and no noticeable performance issues.
tried several android devices, also have to support them at work, but really i cannot stand it. when it comes to phones i'm not a tweaker, cba with it. even with the ios restrictions i can download films and software, and send/access it via ftp from the pc or other peoples phones. i think the design it sexy and consistant (1 place for everything).
i cant understand bragging rights for hardware specs in a phone, doesnt seem like a desireable difference, maybe a second or 2 when switching apps but i dont care lol. screens i can understand, but even the old ones look fine to me (hate massive ones though) . anyway, a 5c is an upgrade from what i have, but certainly not flagship range. still more than enough 'power' for my purpose.
in terms of design, the only devices i ever liked the look of are the 4, 4s and white 5c and s2. every other phone or tablet looks ugly Tongue

Had an S2 which had noticeable performance issues.
I wanted to change it, but didn't bring myself to spending $700 for a new phone.
Then the S2 died and I wanted to get a phone that is lag free. And that's how I got this one.
Performance wise, it's almost double what the quad and octacore non LTE-A Samsung S4 phones score in benchmarks.
Just saying to get my point across. I don't game on it at all, but I like my apps to load fast and have no lag.

Re: Show your mobile device Smartphone/Tablet

thinking about upgrade to Galaxy S4 LTE.

for now... galaxy s3 + nova launcher looks good. giving more options than solo launcher + transparent notification bar (even on android 4.2) + no ads + no stupid unremovable search widget

One plus one is pretty good for the price. Overall nice design with good material. One minus: dark and blury screen, but not a tragedy

I don't have this problem, my screen is very bright and doesn't have a blurry screen.
