Short question regarding USPS postal service

Hello guys, I've sent a package to the US with Registered Mail and no have no tracking update for 14 days now. But I have this info:

Data about your parcel registered
My question is: Is my package in the US and why is the font red, compared to the regular black used before my parcel left the country?
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you!

The date has an asterisk, it should be explained somewhere in the terms of delivery/user agreement. Or at the site.
What are you smuggling in any case?

Cosmetic problems? Are you returning earphones for the wrong colour? Either way, you might wanna check out the agreement in detail. Chances are you can make an appeal and get a cash reimbursement if it's shipping late to an EU country (which it doesn't if i read it right, the U.S. should have similar customer protection
laws/agreements though).

Thanks for the great info Mircwar. I'll get in touch with the USPS on Monday, because this wait is just killing me. Regarding the earphones, they've been returned for a strange shine problem they had on the exotic materials. Pic attached.
