ngz servers are too expencive https://www.server4you.de/de/start.php , there are good roots or vservers or whatever u need, i have this one for 44€ in month and i can host with the right system configuration five 20slot quakeserver on it just have tested it with making all servers with bots full and ram+cpu was only on 43% so i think if they are complete full with clients it takes 70-80% but for that root, awsome 
u must just configurate sys right

I'm wondering if in that case one could just go and rent any rootserver from any webhost. I'm just thinking that the NGZ servers and other gameserver providers possibly have connections optimized for a low ping, whereas the ping doesn't really matter all too much for general webservers. After all, gameserver providers are usually more expensive. Have you stress-tested your ping yet?

what u mean with stress tested ? my ping too net or anywhere is 34-51 thats pinglatency when no up/down, but if u mean that what i think then u wanna say if i have tested my server with gameservers on + sharing with fullspeed ? ye i have tested we have loadet with 6-7 ppl only 2 of them with 4000 inet and all other 6000, all fullspeed and i go on server, watch ping it goes too 80-90 sometimes 120 but i think its nice how it is if u increase the bandwidth of dl´s and such things a little bit there would be 0 lag,
and the system rescources: the most cpu % use the mysql database with 7%, after that the 3 quake-server are on with 2-4% and after that only small programs which uses under 1%.
i only can say that these servers are really nice

well i've used fun-industries in the past (www.fun-industries.nl) and i had a subscription for 3 months in jka (q3 engine game) and it cost £20 for 3 months which i thought was pretty good. but then i heard that people had been getting them for even cheaper so i thought why not ask
