You couldn't be more wrong M1nam4ta. Why? Because you will get used to playing with scripts, and u will never be able to switch weapons fast without them. Best thing to do is find the most "comfortable" keys for weapon binds and start practicing with them, it takes some time but you will get it in the end.

ps. "Im a noob" isn't a valid excuse imo...
ps2. Your last sentence is simply ridiculous

You missunderstood something Trance,I have search for the most "comfortable" keys for weapon binds,my mouse buttons, but i got not enough to bind only one weapon to one button,so i made weapongroups.Maybe i will change it one day,but in the moment it`s the best for me.

And now to ps,I don`t want to excuse anything.

And ps2,if you think so,ok.
But for better understanding what i mean, let me give you a little example. For some "Quake beginners" it`s not so easy to do a rocket jump in the regular way,so they search the web for pages like "the bind" or similar and find a rocketjump script. But if they got more pracise, the most delete it from their config because they have learned to do it regular.Thats only one example for the gameplay problems beginners have.

And btw,ok,i forgot the smiley in my last sentence but i wrote it with a little sense of humor.
This one is only for you Happy

this is my only weapon group i have, i used it at beginning, but meanwhile i dont need it, this give u no cycle-advantage

[code:1]// CTRL Multiple-Weapon bind Script
set rg "weapon 7; set weapongroup vstr bfg"
set bfg "weapon 9; set weapongroup vstr rg"
set weapongroup "vstr rg"
//
bind \ "vstr weapongroup"[/code:1]

I dont think scripts related to automatic-fast-weapon-switch are fair. Switch by hand and how fast is up to yourself.. So I think a rule about this would be great, as many have said.

u can switch it by heand and stll shot faster that others, this trick can be code on fiew ways...

Arrow first of all, dont acuse ppl, when ur not sure...

Arrow second. im 99% sure that this guy not uses a script [i have same tactics - rocket rails combos, especialy on open space maps, and i can swich as fast as him, and i dont use any script for that :!: ]

Arrow if this what u recorded is a script, whats it purpose? doesnt give any advantage.

lets simulate:
u shot wit' RG at ur enemy, he tries to evade that, so his position is different than the one u aimed wit RG... if use such script the rocket will go the same place that u shot wit RG... IMHO it not gives an advantage, i would say it even ruins the user acc in the game....

Maybe some one should explain how you shoot that fast manually, beacause i cant seem to replicate it. The weapon cycle times get in the way Winking.
