When a global GUID ban is set the first time, PB tells reason. Second time, just says global GUID ban and doesnt repeat reason for original ban.
My CD key is original, still I get kicked once in a while coz cd-key is already in use???
Bastards!
I did pay some good money once for this key!
Back to point...
How exactly is a global GUID calculated?
Key/IP/mac... ?
Personally I have no doubts about Sazi and am sure this is just some basic faulup!

When PB_GUIDRelax is set to 7, it means it wont kick for unknown cd keys (i.e., fake ones), duplicat cd keys, or cd keys that come from a wrong IP address.

GUIDs are hashed versions of CD Keys. (not that kind of hash you stoners). It is possible (though unlikely) that two different CD Keys hash to the same GUID.

when a server is full, and i turn on pb sometimes half of the peoples get kicked for this reason.

haha hi guys.
i dont know why this is happening really. i only come up with two reasons but none of them can really be the reason why IM getting kicked/banned by pb, first on 2sweet, later on DAs noob server, and then MR freeze.. First my computer started to f-up, everytime i was playing the comp did something every 5-6th second so it was kind of a lag, but it had with my comp to do and not the connection. The way i tempororaly fixed this and still are; i have to open the taskmanager, find the quake3 processor and change its priority to high, then it wont lag the way i just told u. And after this i got banned and kicked a couple of times on 2sweet server i think (cw vs KO). But i dont really get how my lag and changing priority would hava antyhing to do with it.
Second reason; couple of days ago i went to a 1v1 server, DA. And the guy who was there among others was this guy l33t or smth. So we played and i kicked his ass he got annoyed and started bithicin and whining (as they always do) and i started own him even more when he suddenly went and then after a while came back and then i got banned by pb for smoething, it said something about GUID lalala. So if there is any chance that this veryveryvery bad boy have in some way put me in some PB register so im getting banned on new servres for every day that goes, then it gotta be it. But if it aint possible for just one single idiot to do somehitng like that then i guess ill have to say sorry and take my statement about you(l33t) being a veryveryvery bad boy back.
So if anyone else now have any clues or ideas after my little story how things might be, pls let me know

Well i have been banned from many servers with the exact same problem from mr and 2 sweey servers. It definately has something to do with the cd key and thats all. I was banned for a couple of days then i went and got a different cd key and it was fine though it still causes bad lag sometimes. I dont know wat is going on but as i said it was defo to do with the cd key with me.

... iam out of this discussion only thing, on our server is no punkbuster on and nobody has made it on cause there is nothing in log or anything ... noob server, sure why u play there then ? btw guidrelax = 7
