small fun events should be added in news (main page) on organizer's request... Would be more clear for new members and also it would look like there's actually something going on here apart of osrc cups

+1, but the organizer didn't requested.

Also In General: for it to appear on the main page the only the first N chars will appear from the first post. That means If you have a topic that starts with ************************** .. That's not good. I know it looks good in the topic's page but on main page it won't. That's why, having an image or just a text without fancy *** helps.
