Roccat Kova?

Czech Republic Hi, my deathadder is slowly dying. I had to turn off two side buttons cos it was working without pressing (it looks like software based problem). I was trying different firmware and drivers and didnt helped.
Iam looking for new mouse. All new razer mice has that stupid dual sensor system. I wanted taipan but what i read its not good. And other mice has the same sensor. I have Roccat Isku keyboard so i checked roccat web page and it looks they dont do just laser kone but optical kova also 
I didnt find on internet some deeper tests. Iam looking for mouse without accel. I want raw mouse with 1:1 movement. Deathadder 1800dpi was great. Thanks for any help

Hey Beazt,
Friend of mine have Roccat Kova since a while and he says only good things about this mouse. To be honest, that'll be my next buy when I get paid. My Razer Deathadder still works perfectly [sometimes cable issues but rarely] but I need a mouse with more buttons since I'm playing WoW. Also I consider buy Razer Naga because of the numbers of side buttons but it's quite too much expensive. I assume then my next buy gonna be Kova. My friend says I'm not gonna regret it.
I think he's sleeping with his mouse.

I had 3x roccat kone+ and after all broke down the same way, they gave me back my money. Then i had cheap a4tech a4 which was pretty shitty imo, now i have razer mamba with that dual sensor system u mentioned above and i gotta admit its best mouse I had so far...to bad its so overpriced 
had mx1000,g9,roccat,aetech,razer < best so far
btw: Im judging only from my feelings when playing i didnt ever made any hard testing

Using Logitech G700 for like more than 1 year and never had a problem with it. Be warned that it's a heavy mouse though. Cheers

the dual system in mama is a philips twin eye sensor, witch many ppl say in internet is kinda crappy one, one of the guys who wanted to write review about mamba wrote in polish board that there is nothing to review since this mouse is not worth of making a review
the taipan about what beast have mentored is a combination of two sensor adns9800 and adns3888, the mouse works on laser one 9800 and the second optical is used for calibrating only, and it has other flaws compared to philips used in mamba
i was also interested about taipan but i have herd some opinions it has familiar problems like ands9500, witch make me to wait for some good test in internet or a more trustworthy opinions of users on one of the polish boards about gaming mices
if comes to a4tech mices like ak47 on adns3060 or 760h white fire on the same senor is kind of good choice, but of course the sensor aside very good precision and speed has a prediction
if comes to a kova it has adns3080 (the same like first version of mx518) witch seems to not be the best choice but still not so bad, but the kova+ has a pixart sensor about witch some ppl complain
if u want 3080 the TT Azureus should be a more safe choice than a Kova, like Toxic saying those company is known to have many problems with durability
all thought if u planing to buy a mice i would rather consider buying something without prediction, depends what are yours preferences of hold and sensitivity, if u liked the DA maybe u can order DA BE the adns3888 after apyling proper settings is good for low/mid sensitivity

Could be true, Im not much into mouse bussines. Im speaking just from my personal experience. The most annoying bug which two of my metioned mouses had g9,a4tech was sensor which in game got stucked when i was doing fast movent with mouse(lets call it flicks-shots or smt). It was pain in the ass when u had to turn 180 or even 90 to frag ur opponent. Now I can move with mouse like crazy all over the pad and its still smooth like hell, will see if that stand still in future but for that money it should or i throw that shit outta the window : ))) also the sliders down the mouse fucked up after a half year which seems to be not possible with mamba, or at least i hope so

Roccat is aiight lyk, I personally would endorse Zowie products instead, especially the turbo-nice stuff they give away to Quakers who win their tournaments like the ZOWIE QUKE LIFE DUEL TOURNAMENT SCHEDULED TO START AT 15:00 CET TODAY (check in at 14:00)

mowly was also saying the philips twin eye isn't that bad, but a lot negative opinion on the net makes me still skeptic
u know a4tech have lot of mices generally they use some crap sensors now but they had also some real good models like i have mentored
backing to the philips, what mouse pad u use with it? and whats yours sensitivity? (cm/turn)? none of the wireless lag appearing?
@shady, zowie am or zowie ec1/2 evo, not so fast sensor but still seems to be kinda good ;} the g-tf is to fast for me

Ja, I always admired their mice, but due to value I kinda preferred Razer products since they are pretty baller.
In regards to sensor and shape, the microsoft wmo 1.1 is still balls deep out there (and I recall you doing a shitload of mouse tests with mx510 which were analogical to the esr tests by Sujoy + i wouldn't dare arguing with you about mice anyway

fala, if u asked me, Im using razer goliathous control one, the mouse is connected with cable i heard wireless it has delayed response. Connected it should be like 1ms, duno if thats trustworthy. About sens, i use different sens for few weapons, but for 360 its smt between 40-45cm, to lazy to chek it now : D

thanks for reply khaz. If you need a lot of buttons, look on logitech G300 (price is very similar). I was thinking about it together with kova but roccat has the same design like my keyboard and its black like everything on my table
