[Resolved] problem with maps

im downloading maps from e+ ftp server to my q3 baseq3 and when id like to connect to server with custom maps [i downloaded this maps before] im getting error msg "couldn't load maps/MAPNAME"

i have quake on steam and i dunno where is problem i tried copy maps from baseq3 to excessiveplus/maps and still nothing

make sure they are saved as .pk3 format not as .zip when downloading. rename maps you have as .zip to .pk3 extention. example- mapname.pk3

baseq3 folder is correct place for maps.

Discover what you downloaded using zip, and see how a map folder (maps, file with the extension .bsp)
Pk3 file name does not always coincide with thethe title the map.
