Hey all. I have question. What the hell is 3wave sound and what's the difference between 3wave and normal sound? Sometimes I see servers with info "3wave sound". What the hell is it?

3wave is a mod (CTF mod to be prescice).

You know all those old .wav files? say "&tap_incoming1.wav Incoming". All of them are from 3wave mod, so that is why they are called 3wave sound. (any map which is called q3wcpXX or q3wcXX or q3wX is also from 3wave mod too x) )
