What went wrong?
models dont have "model/xp"
in order to use enemycolors models must be set to "name/xp"
is it q3 quiz? answer is very simple: in "before" column u have 3d icon ( cg_draw3dIcons 1 ) and in "after" column 2d pic ( cg_draw3dIcons 0 ).
you can use cg_deferPlayers "1" this in brief does the following:-
the loading of player models will not take place until the next map, or when you die, or toggle the scoreboard (tab) this prevents the "hitch" effect when a player using a new model or skin joins the game after you. if you join the game after them the models and skins will download as you join?
but i dont think this will stop you getting the list of missing files, hmm i always seem to get a missing bitterman drowning.wav i think these are files that are just not in any of your pak.3's not sure on this though...
mhh i have this set to "1" and i still got this "couldnt load model" stuff in console when some ppl are connecting ![]()
its not the model. its the audio file missing. (crashs taunt audio). it will not go away as long as u dont use cg_forcemodel (will still happen if ur own model is crash or enemymodel tho thats unlikely). bloody annoying but what can u do? guess someone just forgot to include it in q3

it doesnt repair the pk3... it just plays the default sound then.
sometimes pretty annoying if i hear a keel moving instat of a sarge ![]()
if it says "couldnt load model" then you probably have not got the model in your directory, if it says cannot find sound / player / blah blah wav then this means you do not have this file in your directory. you can replace lost files in your pak, by adding to a compressed pak.3 although you wont be able to join a pure server if you do this.
unless anyone else knows different, perhaps it is just a bug with e+ and xp_models..?
