Such as r_picmip. Not using an autoexec.cfg myself, I dont know for sure, but can't you just \writeconfig?

config for e+ mod is in the excessiveplus folder. Config for common q3 is in the baseq folder.

Maybe you have something bad in your conf. Delete some commands with default values to make it smaller and use ingame command in console /exec x.cfg to load your conf. After exit it must be ok

Mb try save your cfg in e+ folder no in baseq3 (ofc if you use e- mod)
I have sometimes this problem but i do second time exec cfg and all is load,and remember use this cmd in cfg if you want see change vid_restart or snd_restart (this is better restart sound and gfx)

I just love it when people ask questions to the public, then somehow find the solution and all they come up with is that it's fixed now but not how it has been fixed. Why not post the solution here so that everyone who might have the same problem in future can find an answer here?

I haven't read these posts since we are already at page 2 of this topic and it didn't seem as it had been solved already. You obviously know too much about stupidity so that I really can't argue with you on that matter.
