they are, if the mapper wasnt very professional, and didnt optimise them for fps gain, or the original maps are leaked

the very best map port that insanekid made in past was the extended q3dm11 map from quakelive @ q3dm11+ and somehow the ported version for E+ was better for me, wider and more playable, I miss that map in rotation.

I'd like to make some variants of CTF conversion of q3dm11... But it will take too much time.

These maps are changed in many ways:
lower heights, less stairs, new/different connections,
more/better clipping, different item layout/positioning,
different atmosphere/lights/sounds, different bot play ...

I had started this some time ago and
wanted to experiment with this kind of layouts and texturing.
Also I have added the same clipping as in "q3Retro", so
U can climb up (top of) walls here and there.

When I´m on the original dm11, I always get lost tryin to go different routes! <:
