Punkbuster Problem

I just formatted my computer and installed quake and e+ mod and now I always get a message from punkbuster saying "Only normal characters are allowed in Player Name. I looked through the forum but didn't find anything that helped me. Someone please help me. Would be much appreciated.

some letters in qname are not allowed by PB simple as that, just change your name and you wont have any probs

@killa_v u have tested any other punkbuster server or only yours ? if only yours which guidrelax u have and which badname cvars u have in there that must be know too fix probem.

perhaps that helps u little bit at your server but would be nice if u could list your cvars on server and say us (when u tried on other servers too, on which?) give us more informations then we can help u more Winking

hmm sry if i misunderstood, but do u mean change values of pb in console? if that what u mean, it can be done, simply as other commands
