I hesitate to lock this topic, but wasnt everything worth saying already said? Anyway, if it keeps getting resurrected by posts that dont add much to the discussion, it'll go down Tongue

So to anyone wanting to contribute - hf reading thru 13 pages of flames, whines, complaints, repetitive, monotoneous anti/pro camp propaganda, occasional words of wisdom, and general nonsense. Big grin

only cheating campers using wallhack. But you can camp everywhere, not only in a corner.

About this topic. I made this topic because of bad experience with cws. And i wanted to tell all that shits to everyone. About camping, spawncamping etc. I wanted to change it. But "war never changes" (btw fallout rlz)

Some people leaved definitely, but i returned and playing again. But now with sweeties. I played only few games, mainly FWs but cw against zombies was really good match. No shits, only nice clear and funny game. I hope i will play more cws like this

Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite | AMD Ryzen 7 5800x (water cooled) | 32GB DDR4 3200MHz | Gigabyte Radeon Rx 6800XT | Creative Audigy RX | 500GB SSD (macOS 13) + 1TB SSD (W11P) + 3TB HDD | Apple Magic Keyboard + Logitech G603

you seem to misunderstand me

its what i think camping is

your point of view is different coz anyone walking or not moving is camping for you but this is an endless discussion coz both partys are equally stubborn

(or one is just right and the other is stubborn)

id just like to point one thing out.

in e+, camping isnt a bad thing. sure its ugly to look at, but its not inherently a bad thing.

so when someone calls you a camper, thats not an insult, but a comment on your game style.

or he is insulting you, but hes dumb anyway.

p.s. yes a move>camp player just said that Tongue

I have to say I think freeze is an exception, as u have to spend sometime long periods waiting to be thawed then only to be fragged instantly by a spawn camper after a 2 min wait...well I would find it hard to respect that person Happy

spawn camping is a part of the game, everyone camps, everyone spawns whether its a little or lot, and sometimes they realize it or think anything of it

i mean if you get spawn killed be mad at yourself for dying before and your team for not getting rid of the camper

really now, there is nothing wrong with it
of course, in freeze it is annoying to sit there for 2 minutes and get frozen but i am sure 50% of the time people insist on staying and attempting to fight and be a hero rather than run away and come back later (some exceptions)
how many times have you sat there during the start of a new match and a spawner "spawnkilled" you?
its either kill or be killed

it is annoying to die in a TDM match 10 times in a row but perhaps you are rushing your spawn a little much?

everyone has their own tactics, just because you dont like it doesnt mean its wrong
i myself dont like it but even i do it sometimes
this is as bad as yelling at people for favoring certain weapons like the machine gun
or the ctf dudes complaining about people using rail too much

nice post.
My only problem is when someone abuses the game.
e.g E+ allows camping in a corner spamming the bfg at the door hoping to kill. It's not wrong, but in my eyes thats a pretty cheap way of playing, which im guessing most people don't like, and im sure you would lose respect for a player if you saw them using those kind of cheap ass tactics on a regular basis.

well i mean doing what you have to do to be successful as long as you aren't breaking the rules is alright however, i guess we can't satify everyone

not saying that i like spamming entrances but, it happens
and sometimes we do stuff that we dont like others doing
i mean it just depends on your mood for the day or something

Im with Joey& Reno on camping...

However i disagree about spamming... usually people do a rocket + bfg thing at a door, then move the fack on to another place, and in most maps you can hear them coming (the gate to the slime hall or dm7 for example are most spammy maps... and you know to be careful around those areas anyway..
