Hey, i got a q3 version right now, and i thought i'd try it out.
When i try to do a localhost (singleplayer) or join a multyplayer server (only 1 server allowed me to play) it on theload screen, when it load everything, the bots the pics and all that, the weapons, i get the q3 menu without the menu buttons but witha white text
Sound/Feedback/hit.wav length=0
what can i do to play?

ok, i found the problem.. my PAK0.pk3 is edited by someone and is 100.000 kb's smaller thanit should be. anyone got info how to get one? pak0.pk3?

Try downloading the quake III demo?
Would installing the 1.32 point release do anything about that?

Or even better yet, do like most of us and hit ebay Winking

no, q3 point release didint help. if ound alink of a pak0.pk3 to download.. 453 mega bytes
and it will take 3 hours..

Have you tried downloading the demo, as I said, if you install it to another directory (not your q3 one), you should be able to extract the pak0.pk3 from it and it would take less time to download than 3 hours Shock .
I've even found you a link to the demo. Ain't I a nice bastard, ey Big grin.

I've even found you a link to the demo. Ain't I a nice bastard, ey Big grin.

its ok now. i downloaded the pak0.pk3 and changed it with my old PAK0.pk3
everything works perfect now.
