How is everybody so hyped about this game?? Saw 1 gameplay video, not even tempting to try :v

Can't say I love it, the gameplay lies too much on teamplay when there's none most of the time. I also like being an independant fragger so not quite hyped about it.

But man, we could get worse in terms of FPS, add me if you want to : Nether#2636

Yer to sum up the game its best played with a group of people you can do decent teamwork with. The game does not lend its hand to alone players that want to run around fragging players on their own. Pretty much all the characters only have a couple of tricks that work in a few situations. On the other hand, a quake player is very much used to being the full Swiss-army-knife of awesomeness that is capable of fulfilling any role in a game.

Once you accept that you can see what is good about the game. (and maybe what is bad). Other key factors are, its faster paced than teamfortress (and tbh i find it more fun than teamfortress). It only has aesthetic unlocks. There is quite a wide selection of characters to play which fulfill many different roles some unexpected some obviously more generic. It looks greats visually.

For its price point I think its just right. Ofc you will never get the value for money you have got with quake .

I would also recommend Doom as its single player campaign is one of the best shooters Ive played in many years.

ive lasted a bunch pf rounds without getting killed with soldier 76 , Tracer , Reaper and Widowmaker , once you learn the maps you can exploit it, I just found out Torbjorn has a sg style on right click lol .
