Ok, I got a problem, more than one actually Tongue. Anywayz, the other day I overclocked my graphics card from 290MHz to 300Mhz. Now today all of a sudden, I was playing e+ and my quake froze and computer restarted. And my computer never did this before overclocking, so I am figuring that is the problem. Could it be because of it getting too warm, causing to restart whole machine?? Drivers are all updated on graphics card and all. So I dunno, not exactly a computer brainiac, pretty much know the basics Tongue. Anyone else have such problems, or is it just my shitty graphcs card or am I pushing it too much??

about what gfx u talk? some of them are not overheating at all

pc restart is caused couse

- psu unstability (if voltage will drop in strees it may cause yors pc will hang/restart)
- fequency unstability (if u overclock a part to moment on witch cant work with that frequency it will give back errors in calculations and it may couse yors pc will hang/restart)
- overheating (due to extremly high temperature u may damage parts and in high temperature parts changing thier physic wich lead to frequency instability, hand/restart)

Most likely it is just no takin the overclock. Heat should not e the issue. Would not force a reboot anyway.

Also another question. My computer came with an integrated nvidia GeForce FX 6100. Would it be wiser to use integrated graphics card, although I am aware that it takes away from memory(but I have 1 Gig anywayz), or to use the 5500 that I installed? And another dumb question I'm sure you will think anywayz, if I were to use the integrated graphics, would it be wise to overclock it, or would it cause entire motherboard to go to heck if I were to do that? Sorry for the silly questions, but am just curious.
