nvidia,which drivers?

hola

straight question,which nvidia drivers u use to have a stable fps in q3? Recommend,im using the gtx260 on win7x64. Gonna make a clear reinstall of OS today and need to check ur opinions.
ps.playing just q3 and FM so dont need to have the latest drivers (which imho not properly works with q3).

i do use the latest for my nvidia, and all works fine. (Playing only q3, and ql time to time)

the official stable or the beta ones? and what about the nvidia settings? set to the performance or other shit or maybe nothing changing there?

the one on the driver dvd coming with the card should work good, do not use beta drivers and make sure you set ur drivers right.

im using the standard drivers from the cd on my 8800 gtx and i can have stable 125/250/333 fps or more in quake Big grin

edit: probably got std settings but not 100 percent sure

playing on
[mouse]: ie 3.0
[mousepad]: corepad eyepad xxl
[keyboard]: Steelseries 6gv2
[headphones]: SteelSeries Siberia v2
[monitor]: Samsung Syncmaster 1000s 21"

I dont change anything in nvida settings, all is default.
I do use a official stable nvidia drivers downloaded from the official website, ofc for my graphic card.

I have the latest beta driver (for BF3). I dont have any problems. Here my setting for q3 with gtx570.

Thx all for respond. Atm im on the one of oldest drivers for win7 and my graphic card(default settings) and all works good,guess thats till i'll try to play in the newest games cause of updating graph drivers Happy

i always install drivers only with new installation of Windows and then i install the latest version Happy. Expetion is only upgrade of graphic card when i have to install drivers to old system.
