I recently re-installed Vista and today I went about installing Quake 3 > point release 1.32 > excessiveplus 1.03 .

In both Q3 and E+ mods the q3 browser fails to find any server and it notes the message as said in the thread title. I'm using the same internet security although offcourse had to re-install everything. I also had to make my entire cfg again.

I can connect to certain servers using /connect however have a low ping, for e.g, on fff servers i know have a ping ~ 100ms whilst before i had (and theoretically should) ~ 60ms. Reason I say I can connect to SOME servers is because some such as Beer Freezer, it never gets past "Awaiting Challenge 1,2,3,4.....etc" .

Please help.

UPDATE: Everything solved. Was a problem with my software and also router firewall.
